“Without history, there is no present.
Without present, there is no future”.

We will start with history….

In the year 1984, an unexpected strong incident in my life left a lasting impact on me and made me vow to contribute my might towards the elevation of socio-economic status of people of India. That has become my life goal.

The immediate necessity was to first prove myself by improving my socio economic status thereby gaining the belief & respect of the people to involve themselves with me towards such a goal. All the while, this question of how to contribute to the increase in socio economic status of India pestered my mind. I have spent many sleepless nights on the issue pondering over many ideas to proceed further.

With that thought and goal never leaving me like internal reflection in my mind, I completed my MBBS, MD radiology from Guntur medical college, run by the government of A.P. in 1993. I did jobs as a radiologist in various institutes including NIMS, Hyderabad. On one side I faced struggle to settle and on another side I struggled to sustain my goal. I started a diagnostic center named “MAA”

I did radiology practice dedicatedly and innovatively & went to american college of radiology, washington to update my radiology knowledge, skills. With my experience and exposure, I started noticing that with the advent of technology more and more diseases are detected in the early stage, and many times, when such disease is still in the reversible phase. I started with continuous annual updates of technology in my centre and for a lot of patients we did tests cost effectively. We earned the name that we were always at the forefront in application of innovative radiology technology. As a step further towards cost-effective and wider-application radiology, we started a teleradiology project in 1999 which was inaugurated by Padmasri Dr.Kakarala subba rao garu. In 2007 former president Bharat ratna our beloved scientist Abdul kalam ji inaugurated a teleradiology hub between Krest, care hospital & MAA diagnostic center.

All the while during my above growth phase, my goal of contributing to the increase of socio economic status of people of India is hunting me very strongly even when I am busy with radiology practice. As a result, “Unconditional financial support / help irrespective of community to bright and poor rural students of 10th, 10+2 th standard “Was started as a small 1st step in 2000 but right direction to fulfill our (mine and student’s) dream.

Idea of Future India Foundation:
After 18 years, when we reviewed, we found that the majority of students who sought unconditional financial help from us are settled in good positions. This indicates to us that small financial uplift at crucial times helps in sustaining the studies and paves way to create a good future for students. With this success, we went on to start a new non-profit organisation for dedicated and better service or activity to fulfill the goal of increasing socio economic status of people of India with name and style “Future India Foundation” registered in 2019.

Goal of FIF is ….
“ Make India number one in innovations by 2040”.

Useful innovation social program done by FIF: Few of them are ….
→ “Training in scientific hand wash technique” for students of 10 schools in Guntur, coincidentally, just 6 months before advent of COVID-19.
→ “Lung cancer screening in heavy cigarette smokers” on 31.5.2019.
→ “Liver fibrosis detection in chronic hepatitis patients” on 28.7.2019.
→ “Ignite innovative thinking” program (Real time medical science technology expo + Creating New Ideas) conducted for many schools.

I hope, every Indian will extend cooperation in achieving FIF goal.

The woods are lovely , dark & deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
